It’s just one of those things you’ve probably never really thought twice about. But chicken soup is actually quite intriguing. There’s the Korean chicken soup (the preventer of illnesses), Jewish soup (containing cracklings), German soup ( which contains a household spice with a name that means chicken stew), and other amazing soups. Just go research it.

First of all, the green packing peanuts are really cool. When properly squished they flatten and it kind of tingles in one’s fingers. They are so much better than the white packing peanuts.

Have you ever opened a small refrigerator and put your cheek right up by the top of the door? You feel both the cool of the refrigerator and the heat that it is pushing out. 

Laundry. I love doing my laundry. That moment right when it finishes and you have the laundry in your arms and it feels so warm and it smells so good, yeah that is my favorite moment of doing laundry.

Homemade butter is quite excellent. Indeed it does require more effort than buying butter in a store but it tastes exactly four hundred and thirty seven times better.

Time for another visual recipe! This is one of my favorite Colombian dishes. Plantains (patacones) are served with many dishes and in many shapes and sizes. But this recipe follows the steps to make the base for one of my favorite ‘snack foods’ where they serve them with chicken, cheese and pink sause on top. 

(Keep in mind though, you need a loooooot of oil, maybe a whole bottle to cover about 4 or 5 plantains. And eh- yes, this is not healthy food. But tasty yes. Very tasty.)
